April 27, 2008 - St. Hedwig's Church, Barry's Bay - Special Polish Mass celebrated in Polish, Kashub and English by Msgr. Ambrose Pick
The altar cloth was embroidered with Kashubian patterns by Theresa Chapeskie.
The choir sang in Polish and Kashub.
After mass, the parish held its annual Polish Kashub Tea in the church hall.
The historic theme was highlighted in the displays and in the pioneer and Polish and Kashub costumes worn by the ladies of the parish. Here Bernadette (Norlock) Dudack stands in front of a display on the first Kashubian immigrants.
